学修目標(到達目標) 　受講生は、このワークショップの中で、東アジアの文化、日本の文化についての理解を深めつつ、生命倫理問題や、医療倫理・研究倫理の基本原則を繰り返し考えなければならない。

In this workshop, students should repeatedly consider bioethical issues and basic principles of medical and research ethics while deepening their understanding of East Asian and Japanese cultures.
授業概要(教育目的・準備学修・事後学修・履修要件等) 　文化の理解と倫理の熟考が、本授業の目的である。
　「ヘルシンキ宣言」（Declaration of Helsinnki, 1964 - 2013）並びに「患者の権利に関するリスボン宣言」（Declaration of Lisbon on the Rights of the patient, 1981 – 2015）を予め再読しておくことが望ましい。3名の講師陣によって、このワークショップは展開される予定である。各講師が取り上げる講義内容について、一連の講義終了後に、レポートの課題が課せられるので、その課題に取り組むことを通じて、さらに自らの考えを深めて欲しい。
　特に、室寺担当の第7回～第11回の5回の授業の中では、受講生による「人の生と死」をテーマとする発表を求める計画である。すなわち、受講生の各自が、生まれ育った地域・国の文化的背景を紹介しながら、人々が考える「誕生」と「死」（死後の観念を含む死生観、また、誕生に伴うお祝い事や、葬送儀礼などの日常的な習俗など）について発表を行い、受講生皆で、討論を行う

Understanding of culture and reflection on ethics are the objectives of this class.
Students will be required to re-read the Declaration of Helsinki (1964-2013) and the Declaration of Lisbon on the Rights of the patient (1981-2015). The workshop will be conducted by three lecturers, and students will be asked to write a report after each lecture to deepen their own thinking.
In particular, we plan to ask students to give presentations on the theme of "human life and death" in the five classes from the 7th to the 11th taught by Prof. Muroji. In other words, each student will introduce the cultural background of the region and country where he or she was born and raised, and give a presentation on people's views on‘birth’and‘death’(views on life and death, including the concept of after death, as well as daily customs such as celebrations associated with birth and funeral rites).
